The AFU have liquidated the commander of the 31st Ulyanovsk airborne assault brigade, Russian Colonel Andrei Kondrashkin. This was reported by the deputy head, "DPR" militant Aleksandr Khodakovsky on his Telegram channel. He did not provide details or the place of the commander's death.

Andrei Kondrashkin was born in 1979. In 2001, he graduated from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School named after V.F. Margelov, after which, a year later, he took part in the war in Chechnya.

From 2015 to 2019, he commanded the 108th Guards Airborne Assault Kuban Cossack Regiment and the 7th Guards Airborne Assault Division. In 2019, he was appointed deputy commander of the 7th Guards Airborne Assault Division. From 2020 to 2021, he was commander of the 56th Independent Guards Airborne Assault Brigade.
