Drones Attack Moscow: Large-Scale Fire Raging In Russian Capital

On Tuesday morning, September 5, Russia complained about a new attack of UAVs. Moscow airports again delayed flights - the plan "Cover" was announced in "Vnukovo", reports obozrevatel.com.

Also planes were delayed for departure and take-off in "Domodedovo" and "Sheremetyevo". The Russian defence ministry first said it had "shot down a UAV" over Kaluga region.

The Russian ministry traditionally blamed Ukraine for the attack. They said that allegedly "air defence forces destroyed an aircraft-type drone".

In turn, the resource Flightradar24 showed the absence of any aircraft in the airspace above Moscow at that time.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the UAV was also shot down in Istra district. According to him, the drones were flying towards the Russian capital.

He claimed that there was "tentatively no damage or casualties" at the site where the debris fell, but emergency services were working there.

Later, Sobyanin already claimed a third drone, which was also "destroyed" over Tver region near the village of Zavidovo, and he confirmed damage to some domestic object in Istra district of Moscow Region as a result of the drone's crash.

Meanwhile, a large-scale fire broke out in the Russian capital. Allegedly "warehouses" have caught fire in the Russian capital Moscow.

A new emergency in Moscow occurred near the Leningradsky railway station. This was reported by Russian propaganda channels on Telegram.

The footage published by the Russians in the network shows that the fire at the site is strong.

According to Russian media, emergency services and a fire train have already gone to the scene. It is not yet known whether there are any casualties.
