Previous developments

Rumours about Reznikov's resignation have been circulating for a long time. In particular, after a series of scandals with the purchase of meals and ammunition by the Ministry of Defence at inflated prices.

So, recently Reznikov offered a bet to the people's deputy and a journalist because of the scandal with the purchase of jackets for the military of the Ministry of Defense. He said he was ready to resign if it turned out that the department had supplied 180,000 summer jackets instead of winter ones. Otherwise, he suggested that deputy Anastasia Radina resign her mandate, and journalist Mikhail Tkach leave the publication and stop doing journalism for 3 years.

They did not make a bet, but they began to talk about Reznikov's resignation even louder.

On September 3, RBC-Ukraine sources spoke about the reshuffle in the Ministry of Defence and plans to dismiss Reznikov. Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed this information.

In addition, it was reported that Reznikov could be appointed ambassador to Britain after dismissal. However, neither the President of Ukraine nor Reznikov has commented on this information yet.
