BILD: Russian Troops Fall Into One Of Largest Traps In War

The Ukrainian army has created an impenetrable shield.

The Krynki bridgehead has become one of the biggest traps for Russian forces in the entire war, reports the German tabloid BILD.

According to BILD's military expert Julian Repke, around 300 Ukrainian soldiers are now holding the destroyed village of Krynki on the left bank of the Dnipro. The area of the bridgehead is less than 1 square kilometre. The Kremlin is sending more and more columns of armoured vehicles there, not realising that they are walking into a trap as the AFU shell them from the right bank.

"What the Russians don't realise, or don't want to realise, is that they are falling into one of the deadliest traps of the entire war. The Ukrainian army has created an impenetrable shield around its brave soldiers on the south bank of the Dnipro. With the help of kamikaze drones, Western high-precision artillery and REB equipment, they have repelled every wave of Russian attacks for almost three months now," Repke writes.

According to his calculations, 153 units of Russian armoured vehicles were destroyed during the defence of Krynki. These included 19 tanks, 58 APCs, 35 army trucks, 12 MLRS and six UAS. Ukraine lost 31 armoured vehicles, including 16 artillery systems.
