Organisers Of Migration Along 'Belarusian Way' Detained In Poland

As a rule, illegal immigrants flew to Russia or directly to Belarus.

Three more defendants in the case of organising illegal migration have been detained in Poland. According to the Border Guard, three Polish citizens from Silesian Voivodeship have been detained as part of an international criminal group.

It was engaged in organising the transport of migrants, entering Poland through Belarus and the Balkan countries. The border guards report notes that as a rule, the migrants flew to Russia or directly to Belarus, then they were taken to the border with Poland, which they crossed on foot. On the Polish side, they were met by members of the group or people hired by them, who were later to take the foreigners to the countries of Western Europe.

Twenty-three people have already been detained in the group's case, among them citizens of Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. They performed various roles in organising migration. Both the leaders of the group and the drivers who carried out their tasks have been detained. Eight people have been taken into custody.
