The terms of the contract were violated.
Atas.info writes about problems with the supply of Belarusian transport citing the atas.info publication. 120 trolleybuses were to be delivered under the contract to Novosibirsk from Belarus before the end of 2023. But at the end of January there were only 95.
In addition to trolleybuses, there is a delay with trams. Six out of ten of them arrived. The rest are waiting until March.
As the mayor of Novosibirsk Oleg Klemeshev told journalists, they arranged a business trip to Minsk on behalf of the governor: "We discussed the issues with the trams and trolleybuses."
“MAZ and BKM will fulfil their obligations," Klemeshev said.
On June 26, 2023, the governor of the Novosibirsk region, Andrei Travnikov, at a meeting on the regional program for the renewal of the city trolleybus fleet, said that by the end of the year, Novosibirsk would receive 120 new trolleybuses. At the same time, he stressed that "there are no delays on the part of financing."
On October 10, Lukashenka at a meeting with Travnikov in Minsk said that Belarus has the opportunity to help the Russian subject solve problems with the renewal of the fleet of passenger transport and other equipment.
"I guarantee you that all our agreements will be unconditionally fulfilled, moreover, qualitatively and on time," Lukashenka said then.
