Lukashenka Reports About Catching 'Ukrainian Saboteurs'

Lukashenka reported at the general meeting of Belarusian Cooperative Union on February 16 about the "detention of saboteurs" on the border with Ukraine, BelTA reported.

- Just today we detained several saboteurs on the Ukrainian border. With the help of drones, some of the Ukrainian citizens were crawling across our border through swamps, transferring explosives to commit sabotage primarily in Russia and Belarus. The counter-terrorist operation, which you did not notice, has just ended. That's good. This is none of your business. You should quietly do your job. The Chekist-military operation has just ended. All saboteurs have been detained. And some of them are Belarusians. And this happens virtually two or three times a week.

We remind you that the counter-terrorist operation regime was declared in Lelchytsy district on February 15. This was reported by the local authorities with reference to the KGB Department of Homel region.
