To declare the Kremlin’s guilt in what happened.
The British government on Friday, February 16, summoned a representative from the Russian Embassy to make clear that it holds Russian authorities “fully responsible” for the death of jailed oppositionist Alexei Navalny.
This was reported by Reuters with a reference to a statement by the British Foreign Ministry.
Why did Navalny die now?
They noted that Navalny’s death in an Arctic penal colony “must be investigated fully and transparently.”
British Foreign Secretary David Cameron previously said that Russian President Vladimir Putin must answer for Navalny's death.
“We need to hold Putin to account for this,” Cameron told reporters at the Munich Security Conference.
