An aviation expert explains how the AFU have shot down six Russian planes.

This was told to "24 Channel" by aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap. He predicted how the shooting down of 6 aircraft can change the situation on the front and affect Russian pilots.

As the aviation expert noted, Russia now has about 70 to 75 Su-34 aircraft left. However, European experts who have researched and analysed the state of enemy aviation have concluded that the Russians have only 40 - 45 of these machines left.
"I think Russian pilots will have an epiphany. They will look at this situation and consider whether they should go flying. It is unlikely that they will now come so close to our territory," Kryvolap said.
"Russia can produce about 20 Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft per year. 10 units of each type. Even if the Russians can continue to produce aircraft, the question arises where they will take the necessary number of pilots, because it is impossible to train him in a year," the expert said.
What Is the Reason for Such a Powerful Work of the Air Force?
The aviation expert noted that the shooting down of 6 Russian planes is extremely pleasant news. If Patriot SAMs had appeared in the Eastern direction a little earlier, then perhaps the situation in Avdiivka would have been different during the last few days.
"The Russians got extremely brazen and were flying very close to the line of contact because they had to drop a very large number of scattering bombs - about 60 to 80 a day.
To have a range of 70 kilometres, the fighters had to gain about 10 kilometres of altitude, only then they can launch a bomb," Kryvolap noted.
However, the other day Russian pilots have already started flying closer and dropping scattering bombs from lower altitudes. According to him, the occupiers were sure that they were safe, but "the Ukrainian friend Patriot noticed something, switched on for a couple of minutes, fired missiles and the planes were gone."
