Drone Strike At Volgograd Oil Refinery Captured On Video

According to local residents, two explosions were heard before the fire started.

Tonight, after an attack by a UAV, a strong fire broke out at the LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery. The total area of the fire was about 300 square meters.

The drone attack and fire at the enterprise were confirmed by the governor of the Volgograd region, Bocharov. He stated that “the UAV was shot down by air defense and electronic warfare systems,” after which the drone fell onto the territory of the oil refinery.

According to local residents, two explosions were heard before the fire started: the first at 4:23 am, and the other about half an hour later.

Later, a video of a drone attack on a refinery in Volgograd appeared online.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the interception and destruction at night by air defense means of 4 Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of the Belgorod region, 2 UAVs over the Volgograd region, and another drone over the Rostov region.
