Drones Hit Oil Depot In Orel, Refinery In Russian Federation's Nizhny Novgorod Region

A drone attacked the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the town of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region, early this morning, March 12.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Telegram 112.
According to sources, the strike drone hit directly into the oil distillation unit. As a result of the impact on the territory of the enterprise there was a fire.
Lukoil, which owns the Nizhny Novgorod refinery, says that the operation of the process unit at the enterprise has been suspended "in connection with the incident." The incident in question was not specified.
Gleb Nikitin, the governor of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region, confirmed the data about the drone strike on the oil refinery in Kstovo.
"There was a drone attack on the Kstovo industrial zone, a facility of the fuel and energy complex, in the morning," Nikitin said.
He added that the strike resulted in a fire at one of the oil refining facilities.
At the moment, operational services are working on the site, a fire train has also been brought in to extinguish the fire, there is no information on casualties.
Hit on Oil Depot in Orel
A fire broke out in Orel after a strike on an oil depot on the night of March 12. The fire is being extinguished by 60 people and a fire train.

A spokesman for the Orel regional government said that as a result of a drone hitting an oil storage facility in the regional centre, one of the tanks caught fire.
"An oil storage tank in Orel is on fire, more than 60 people are working to extinguish it," the representative of the Orel regional government's press service told the TASS publication.
Orel regional governor Andrei Klychkov said there were no casualties as a result of the drone strike.
"There was a drone crash in Orel. An object of the fuel and energy complex was attacked. Special services are working on the site in order to localise the fire. There are no casualties," the governor said.
