There are 29 people on it.
Operatives and analysts from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine have identified 36 Russians involved in Kinzhal missile attacks on Ukraine.
The full list is published on the Defense Intelligence website.
It consists of 29 command, flight and technical personnel of the 44th separate special-purpose aviation regiment of long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and seven officers from among the technical personnel of the regiment.
According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the 44th regiment was formed on December 1, 2021. The place of its permanent deployment is the Savasleika airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation.
The regiment has a two-squadron structure, with up to 24 aircraft, namely MiG-31K long-range fighter-interceptors.
Ukrainian intelligence officers also established the tail numbers of the MiG-31K aircraft from the regiment: RF-20862, RF-03230, RF-20882, RF-03231, RF-03234, RF-19275, RF-94268, RF-42251, RF-42253, RF-20867, RF-20883.
These aircraft carry Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles. The missile's warhead is 500 kg, and may also have a nuclear charge. The purpose of these missiles is to deliver the fastest possible strikes at distances of up to 2,000 km.
The hypersonic flight speed of the rocket in the final phase is achieved by accelerating the carrier aircraft to supersonic parameters (that is, the MiG-31K acts as the “first stage” of the rocket).
“For every war crime committed against Ukraine there will be fair retribution,” the Defense Intelligence noted.
