Ukrainian Officer: Situation In Kharkiv Region Has Changed Dramatically

The Russian occupation forces have changed the tactics of conducting offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction. Such actions by the enemy are directly connected with the permission of Western countries to strike Russia using their weapons. Oleksandr Bukatar, commander of the 3rd operational battalion of the Spartan brigade, spoke about this on the air of the telethon.

He noted that the situation in the Kharkiv direction in the area of responsibility of the Spartan battalion remains under control. The Ukrainian military is holding back the enemy's advance and monitoring all of its actions and plans.

“The enemy (in the Lyptsy area — edit.) is constantly trying to advance in small infantry groups, try to storm our positions, come from different sides, but they are not succeeding. We are destroying them in advance, even at the approaches,” Bukatar said.

According to him, the Russian occupiers changed their offensive tactics after the allied countries allowed them to strike Russian territory using Western weapons.

“Considering that the enemy’s intensity has become a little less, then yes. I used to say that we reached the border with the Russian Federation with drones and some barrel artillery. This makes their life difficult. If we take the recent period, the enemy has significantly decreased in its activity. Since we are already destroying their plans on the approaches and making our own adjustments to the military actions,” the military man summed up.
