It is considered to be an ultra-modern weapon designed to control airspace.

Operators of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine (SOF) discovered the location of the Russian ‘Kasta-2E2’ mobile radar station during aerial reconnaissance in one of the operational directions. The target was hit by one of the latest developments. The SOF reported about this on Telegram.

It is noted that this model of radar is considered an ultra-modern weapon, which is designed to control the airspace, determine the coordinates and recognise air targets, including those flying at ultra-low altitudes.

‘The Kasta radar was first recorded on Ukrainian territory in occupied Luhansk region in 2021. At that time, the Russians imported the equipment to counter strike UAVs. However, ironically, the machines of the enemy station have recently become the target of SOF attack drones,’ the military informed.

The operators hit the Russian radar station with one of the latest developments that the SOF received.
