  • 3.06.2024, 13:52

Third time in a month.

LTG Cargo employees, while inspecting a train that arrived at the Kene checkpoint from Belarus, noticed the letter ‘Z’ on one of the carriages.

According to Lithuanian laws, the ‘Z’ sign is on the list of prohibited signs, as it symbolises Russian aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, the travel of vehicles and trains with such a sign on the territory of Lithuania is prohibited, reports Delfi.

After the examination, the railway car was detached from the train and sent back to Belarus. Customs officers note that this is the third attempt to bring a wagon with the ‘Z’ sign from the territory of Belarus since mid-May.
