They called the dictator a war criminal.

On June 3, four activists of the ‘No to War’ movement were detained near the main square of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. They were going to hold a rally demanding to expel Aliaksandr Lukashenka, who had arrived in the country on an official visit, reported the local edition of News.mn.

The activists consider Lukashenka a ‘war criminal and an accomplice of Vladimir Putin’ who unleashed the war against Ukraine.

‘This man should be immediately expelled from the territory of Mongolia. By hosting a criminal in the country, Mongolians are themselves at risk of international sanctions.

Instead, the police are detaining citizens of democratic Mongolia for expressing their own opinions, while the president is hosting the head of Belarus at the highest level, providing him with security instead of arresting him,’ Mongolian activists said.

The detainees were taken to the police station, kept there for some time, ‘taken to the offices’ and released without explaining the reasons for their detention.
