Kellogg: Trump Authorized Ukraine To Launch Long-range Strikes Against Russia

US President Donald Trump has given Ukraine the right to strike deep inside Russian territory. The president's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said this in an interview with Fox News, noting that others in the Trump administration also support the decision.

Answering a direct question about whether the president thinks it's acceptable for Ukraine to use long-range weapons against Russia, Kellogg said it was authorized by the White House chief of staff.

"I think, reading what he said, as well as statements from Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio, the answer is yes. Take advantage of the opportunity to strike at long range. There are no safe havens," he said.

At the same time, Kellogg noted that the Pentagon had previously sometimes failed to authorize Ukraine to conduct such attacks.
