Lukashenko Held Strange Meetings In Beijing

One could get the impression that the dictator was talking to himself.

The ruler of Belarus continues his multi-day visit to China. On September 2, he held several meetings with representatives of Chinese business circles in Beijing. They were quite unusual.

First of all, some of the meetings were "closed" - and Lukashenko's press service didn't even bother to explain why. Apparently, there were at least two "anonyms" - it is claimed that the ruler discussed with them cooperation in industry, particularly in the automotive industry.

Although the video could give the impression that Lukashenko was talking to himself.

Secondly, Lukashenko shamelessly promoted the interests of businessmen close to him.

At a meeting with the management of Shandong Hualiang Greenhouse Engineering, which specializes in growing flowers, the ruler directly pointed to his favorite Dmitry Baskov:

-I even brought you a future companion... we will support him there (in Belarus - ed.).

After the meeting Dmitry Baskov and Sergei Teterin gave comments to BelTA, in which they said that Belarus and China should have a joint project in the development of greenhouse farming, particularly in the cultivation of flowers.

On the whole, Lukashenko's behavior on that day resembled the actions of a mafioso - he met with people who hid their faces from outsiders and promoted the interests of people close to him rather than state enterprises.
