In Sumy region Galician paratroopers destroyed a Russian reconnaissance drone "Forpost" worth 7.5 million dollars. This was reported by the communications department of the 80th separate Galician paratrooper assault brigade of the 8th Corps of the AFU SSV on Facebook.

The publication Militarny, commenting on the video shown by the brigade, notes that the Russian UAV was carrying a KAB-20 corrective aerial bomb under its right wing.

- It was probably initially armed with two such munitions, one under each wing, and apparently managed to drop one of them before being destroyed," experts told the publication

The publication notes that it is unknown which model was used for the interception, but the interceptor drone was able to catch up and hit the Outpost.

The brigade said that the downed reconnaissance UAV "Forpost" is already the second on the account of anti-aircraft gunners of the 80th ODShB. The report says that the first drone was also shot down in Sumy region in the summer of 2025.
