Putin: Russia Ready To Send $1 Bln From Assets Frozen In The US To The "Peace Council"

The Russian dictator said this at a meeting with the Security Council.
Russia is ready to send $1 billion to the "Peace Council" from among the funds frozen in the United States, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said.
"We could send $1 billion to the 'Peace Council' from Russian assets frozen under the previous US administration," Putin said at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
Bloomberg reported that U.S. authorities are asking countries that want a permanent seat on the international "Peace Council" on the Gaza Strip to contribute at least $1 billion.
The exact list of invitees is unknown. According to Axios, it consists of leaders from 58 countries. Among the countries invited to join the "Peace Council" were Russia and Ukraine. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, dictator Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev were invited as founding members of the organization.
