The Russians are shelling the city with both rockets and drones.

On January 22, Krivoy Rog has been subjected to a continuous missile and drone attack for more than 10 hours - a record for the entire war.

This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to a message in the Telegram channel of the chairman of the city's Defense Council Alexander Vilkul.

According to the official, Krivoy Rog has been shelled by the enemy for more than 10 hours with both missiles and drones.

At the same time, residential neighborhoods and critical infrastructure facilities have come under attack. The enemy is purposefully striking civilian homes, schools and social facilities without any military sense.

"This is a conscious terror against civilians," Vilkul emphasized.

It is known that the attacks have injured 13 people, among them four children aged from 1.5 to 10 years. Six patients are in hospitals in the city, all in a condition of average severity. Doctors are providing the necessary medical care.

18 houses were damaged, including 13 apartment buildings (one was actually destroyed) and 5 private sector houses.

The destruction of administrative buildings, business facilities, two educational institutions, a cultural institution and cars was also recorded.

All operational and communal services were immediately sent to the sites of the blows. Fires were liquidated, 27 brigades and more than 20 units of equipment were involved in the work. Utility workers are helping residents to close the broken windows, and in the future it is planned to glaze and repair damaged roofs - there are 13 of them.

The latest data, because of the blows without power supply remain almost 10 thousand subscribers, restoration work is underway. Boiler houses have been launched, but the heat set is going on gradually. Water supply is working partly on generators, the pressure in the network has been reduced. Also the movement of high-speed streetcar and part of trolleybuses was temporarily stopped, but it was promptly restored.

To help the victims immediately deployed the Help Center, where residents can get construction materials (OSB, film, rails, etc.) and apply for material assistance. More than 70 families have already received the necessary materials, and 100 families have applied for monetary compensation.

"Great thanks to the State Emergency Service, police, medics, utility workers, energy workers and volunteers who work in extremely difficult conditions, often under repeated threat of shelling," - said Vilkul.

Despite the attacks, the city continues to work, hospitals and social institutions are functioning.
