Vilnius will continue to support Kiev.
The amount of military aid that Lithuania has provided to Ukraine has already exceeded €1 billion, President Gitanas Nauseda said at a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the Lithuanian leader reported.
"Lithuania will always be among the most active supporters of Ukraine," Nauseda said, noting that in 2025, military support to Ukraine reached 0.28% of the country's GDP, which exceeded the bilateral commitment to Ukraine.
The president also promised that Lithuania would continue to participate in international initiatives, "including ammunition supplies and the demining coalition, which has already trained and equipped Ukrainian units."
The president's website also said that Nauseda discussed with Zelensky the progress of peace talks, security guarantees and further support for Ukraine, namely Kiev's air defense needs and cooperation in the defense industry.
