Russians Struck A School In Kyiv

A fire broke out.
Russian forces launched a drone strike on an educational institution in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district on the morning of October 1. According to the city police, no one was injured: at the time of the attack, more than 100 students and about 60 staff members were in a shelter.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko clarified that a Russian drone struck the school building, causing a fire. According to law enforcement officials, the strike damaged the facade of the school building at the third-floor level. Earlier, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that information regarding possible casualties was being verified, and emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
On the night of October 1, Russian forces also attacked Kyiv with drones. The effects of the strike were reported in the Solomensky, Obolonsky, and Pechersky districts. Fires broke out in a residential building, a warehouse, and among parked cars; one person was injured.
