Zelenskyy: Russia Wants Trump To Appear Weak

Putin is mocking the U.S. president.

Americans should side with Ukraine in the war, and any agreements with Russia would be an easy victory for the Kremlin leader, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He made this statement on the British political talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored, as reported by “European Truth”.

Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukrainians have always been grateful for the support of the American people. However, President Donald Trump’s new agreements with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, in the president’s view, make him appear weak in the eyes of the world.

“Russia wants Trump to look weak. They aren’t worried about the U.S. elections. They’re worried about what will happen to Ukraine. They hate Americans,” Zelenskyy said.

Furthermore, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the agreement between the U.S. and Russia on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the American and global markets has become a tactical victory for Putin.

“Putin is laughing. For him, it was an easy victory—with the diesel fuel agreement. The same goes for Starlink. It’s used to protect civilians, but also by the military. Right now, Putin is laughing: he’s lost so many people on the battlefield, but he’s scored an easy victory here,” Zelenskyy said.
