The United Kingdom and Ukraine have agreed on expedited deliveries of British air defense systems.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram following a meeting with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

These air defense systems will be used to counter the “Shahed” drones with which Russia is attacking Ukraine.

“Right now, it is especially important to strengthen our air defenses and provide Ukraine with everything necessary to protect lives. Today, a decision was made to expedite the delivery of British air defense systems to Ukraine to counter the “Shahed” drones,” Zelenskyy wrote.
