The enemy's advance has been blocked.
Over the past few days, Russian troops have attempted to break through on various sectors of the front, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces have blocked the enemy’s advance.
This was reported by Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
On October 13 and 14, Russian forces continued offensive operations in the north of the Kharkiv region, but achieved no confirmed successes.
Moreover, Russian officials and military bloggers continue to spread disinformation about the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian units in the northeast of the Kharkiv region.
Specifically, on October 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated on the social media platform Max that Russian troops were eliminating allegedly surrounded Ukrainian soldiers in Mykolaivka, Varvarivka, and Nefedivka, located east of Volchansk.
On October 14, a Russian military blogger published a map claiming that the occupying forces had closed the ring between Volchansk and Bolshoy Burluk, encircling Varvarovka and the territory between Chernoye and Nefedovka. At the same time, ISW analysts note that these reports distort the actual situation, as there is no confirmation that Ukrainian forces have been surrounded in this sector.
On October 14, Russian troops also conducted limited offensive operations in the Kupiansk and Borovsk directions, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces prevented the enemy from advancing.
On October 13 and 14, the occupying forces attacked to the northeast and southeast of Lyman but were unable to advance. Russian forces also advanced east of Sloviansk, specifically near Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka, Piskunivka, and Kalenikiv, but did not achieve any confirmed gains.
In Konstantinovka and its surroundings, Russian forces continued their offensive operations on October 13 and 14, but no confirmed advances were recorded.
In the south of the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian sources also reported that the offensive continued on October 13 and 14 amid Ukrainian counterattacks. At the same time, the ISW found no evidence of Russian troop advances in this sector of the front.
