Another Yandex Service Has Stopped Working In Belarus

It is no longer possible to view photos of a specific location on "Yandex Maps."

The "Yandex Panoramas" service stopped working in Belarus on October 15—it is no longer possible to view photos of specific locations on "Yandex Maps," as noted by the publication blizko.by.

Problems with the service began even earlier. For example, on October 14, users could only view the most recent photos—they had no access to panoramas from previous years.

Widespread disruptions to Yandex services in Belarus and Russia resulted from a series of drone attacks on the company’s critical infrastructure. Within a few days, three key data centers of the digital giant were damaged simultaneously—in Sasovo (Ryazan Region), Kaluga, and Vladimir.

Earlier, it was reported that Yandex.Taxi had restricted the onboarding of new partners.

“This measure is necessary to ensure stable service for those who are already working with Yandex.Taxi. As soon as everything is restored, the application form will be reopened,” the Association of Professional Passenger Carriers (APPA) clarified.
