Only actions like these will have an impact on Putin.

Financier, analyst, and Kremlin critic William (Bill) Browder said in an interview with Kyiv Independent, called on Ukraine to significantly increase the intensity of its strikes on Russian oil refineries, data centers, and warehouses.

In his view, this could strengthen Kyiv’s negotiating position and help bring an end to Russian shelling. Browder stated that Ukraine should carry out several times more strikes against Russian infrastructure. He believes that only such tough measures will influence dictator Vladimir Putin and exert real pressure on Moscow.
In addition, the financier advocated for the imposition of secondary sanctions on buyers of Russian oil, particularly India and Turkey. In his view, these countries are not as resilient to this kind of pressure as China, and limiting their purchases could significantly reduce the aggressor nation’s revenues.

Browder emphasized that oil exports remain one of the key sources of funding for the Russian state and military. According to him, if this sector is paralyzed, the Kremlin will begin to face real financial difficulties.
