Russian occupiers will continue to block Ukraine’s port infrastructure in the Black Sea, strike at the power grid and everything related to water supply, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“We see this, we understand it, and we’re doing everything we can to protect it. They’re already striking the bridges. So this isn’t just about plans—it’s already a reality today. We’re shooting down everything we can, and as you can see, some are getting through. Unfortunately, that is their objective, but we’re doing everything we can to protect our infrastructure,” the Ukrainian leader added, responding to a journalist’s question.

According to him, more still needs to be done to defend against Russian attacks. And this applies to everyone, including politicians, the military, and central and local authorities. In addition, Zelenskyy emphasized that the Kremlin dictator Putin will continue to escalate the conflict.

Therefore, Ukraine must compel Russia to make peace and, at the same time, unite the entire world. “We must force Putin into negotiations, into a ceasefire, into stopping attacks on infrastructure, on the energy sector, and on people—at least on civilian infrastructure,” he noted.

After all, if we show weakness, nothing will stop Putin. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s surrender is not enough for the Russian leader—he wants our destruction.
