Zelenskyy Held New Talks With Trump's Team

Ukraine and the U.S. are preparing new diplomatic steps that will help bring an end to Russia’s war.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Charter97.org, citing his post on Telegram.

According to the head of state, he held telephone conversations with U.S. President’s Special Envoys Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner.

“Peace comes only through strength and cooperation built on trust. We are all doing our part to ensure that America’s position remains strong and helps bring about the peace that everyone—except Russia—has been waiting for for more than four and a half years,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

According to the Ukrainian president, the focus this time was on the results of the meeting between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Florida.

The head of state also noted that the work of his representatives and special envoys Donald Trump continues uninterrupted.

“We are also preparing the next steps in diplomacy. We are constantly keeping our partners informed about the actual situation regarding Russian shelling, which hasn’t stopped for a single minute, and about air defense issues. A great deal depends on America’s position here. Ukraine remains ready to work constructively, honestly, and toward tangible results,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
