A propaganda channel hinted at "friendly fire."

Russian occupiers lost a Mi-8 helicopter along with its crew. This was reported by the Russian propaganda Telegram channel Fighterbomber, which did not disclose the official cause but hinted that it could have been so-called “friendly fire,” writes Dialog.UA.

“Yesterday we lost another Mi-8 along with its crew,” the propagandist’s post states.

The author of the post noted that he would not specify the cause of the loss. However, he called it a “classic problem” and stated that no modern innovations, AI, or anything else would help solve it.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that the Russian military may have accidentally shot down its own Mi-8. It is most likely that Russian air defense crews mistook their own helicopter for a Ukrainian drone.
