Before the attack, he flew over the Donbass Arena.
In occupied Donetsk, a Ukrainian strike UAV struck a train belonging to the Russian occupying forces. Before the strike, the drone flew over the “Donbass Arena” and headed toward the train station area.
This was reported by the 210th Separate Assault Regiment. The Ukrainian military published a video of the UAV’s flight and its successful strike on its Telegram channel.
The unit reported that the drone overcame Russian electronic warfare and air defense systems to reach Donetsk. Along the way, Russian military personnel attempted to “ram” the Ukrainian UAV using an FPV drone, but it evaded the attack.
Before being shot down, the UAV flew over the “Donbass Arena.” It then targeted the occupiers’ rolling stock and struck it near the Donetsk train station. The regiment explained that the strike was carried out to disrupt Russian logistics.
The 210th Special Operations Battalion also stated that the day will come when they will definitely return to the “Donbass Arena”—this time for a “Shakhtar” match.
“A drone from the 210th Special Operations Regiment visited Donetsk. Before striking the target, it flew over the legendary ‘Donbass Arena.’ “The day will come, and we will definitely go there for an FC SHAKHTAR match!” the regiment’s statement reads.
