Belarus is buying up Russian dairy products.

This year, Russian producers are increasing their shipments of packaged milk and cream to retail chains in Belarus.

According to Agroexport, Belarus ranked fourth among Russia’s export destinations for these products from January through August.

The top five importing countries in 2026 are as follows:

1. Kazakhstan—over $15.5 million;

2.Kyrgyzstan—about 5.7 million;

3. Georgia—about 2.7 million;

4. Belarus—over 2.5 million;

5.Abkhazia—about $2.5 million.

Compared to the same period last year, exports grew by 11% in volume terms and by 17% in value terms.

It is noted that, based on the results for the first 8 months of 2026, Russia has achieved record export revenue figures for this period from shipments of packaged milk and cream.

It should be noted that for a long time, Belarus was a net exporter of dairy products to Russia.
