Putin Is Dissatisfied: The Russian Front Line Is In Disarray

The former head of the British intelligence agency MI6 learned of major problems facing Russian forces.

The former head of the British intelligence agency MI6 John Sawers stated that Russian troops on the front lines in Ukraine are constantly facing a severe shortage of food, water, weapons, and medical supplies. He discussed this in an interview with journalist Robert Peston.

According to his assessment, the Russian front line is disorganized, while Ukrainian forces continue to hold their positions firmly.

Sawyers believes that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is dissatisfied with the Russian army’s lack of significant progress on the battlefield, which is why is shifting his focus to bombing Ukrainian cities.

Sawyers also noted that Ukraine is far from Moscow’s only target. Over the past decade, threats from Russia to the United Kingdom and Europe have increased significantly. According to him, Moscow supported the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union because Brexit could weaken Europe and reduce London’s international influence.
