Transportation Gridlock In Kyiv Following A Barbaric Attack By The Russian Federation

Traffic on the South Bridge is blocked, and there are massive traffic jams on the roads.
Due to infrastructure damage caused by Russian attack in Kyiv, a transportation crisis has erupted, with massive traffic jams and long lines at bus stops. This was reported by “KYIV24”.
Traffic jams formed on roads leading to the capital’s right bank. Large lines of passengers waiting for buses gathered near the “Osokorky” metro station. The situation is complicated by traffic restrictions on the “green” metro line and the closure of the South Bridge.
Following the nighttime attack in the capital, taxi fares have skyrocketed—a ride across the entire city can now cost up to 1,000 hryvnias.
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, to compensate for the transportation restrictions and facilitate passenger travel, city authorities have increased the number of buses on routes No. 22 and No. 91.
Route 22 now has 12 buses instead of the usual ten, five of which operate on a shortened route—from Trostyanetska Street to the “Lybedska” metro station. On Route 91, the number of buses has been increased from three to five.
Updated. According to the head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Beloshitsky, traffic on the South Bridge has been temporarily closed in both directions for safety reasons. Previously, the restriction applied only to traffic traveling from the right bank to the left bank of the capital.
