In Germany, police are investigating a possible case of arson after more than 20 MAN trucks were set on fire Thursday evening in the Zellerhausen-Stünz district of Leipzig.
This was reported by DW.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m., completely destroying several vehicles.
Media reports indicate that preliminary estimates of the damage amount to a seven-figure sum.
The Center for Combating Extremism and Terrorism at the Saxony Criminal Investigation Department will take over the investigation, as a political motive for the arson cannot be ruled out.
By morning, firefighters had managed to bring the fire under control, and there were no reports of injuries.
