The U.S. president gave an evasive answer to a question about his phone call with Elon Musk.

U.S. President Donald Trump called the situation regarding restrictions on Starlink’s operations in Ukraine “very interesting,” but declined to provide further details.

The U.S. leader stated in a conversation with reporters on Thursday, October 22.

Members of the media asked the White House chief whether reports in the press were true—namely, that he had called SpaceX owner Elon Musk and asked him restore Starlink service in Ukraine.

“I’d rather not talk about this, but the situation was very interesting,” the U.S. president replied.

Trump added that he did not want to comment “one way or the other,” but emphasized his “good relationship” with Musk.

“Yes, I don’t want to comment on that. You know, whether I called or someone else did, it doesn’t change anything. I think the main thing is that he restored it,” said the U.S. leader.
