Belarusians Have Set Up A Mobile Gas Station On The Border With Poland

An illegal gas station was set up in a Ford Transit equipped with a 1,000-liter fuel tank.

Customs officials in Grodno discovered an illegal gas station near the “Berestovitsa” border crossing.

As is well known, carriers from EU countries are required to use specific gas stations where fuel prices are higher. Some Belarusians are trying to profit from this by setting up illegal mobile gas stations.

A driver for a Polish carrier was caught red-handed while purchasing fuel at one such illegal station. A Ford Transit was being used as the “gas station.”

An administrative citation was issued to the driver of the Polish company for violating traffic and vehicle refueling regulations. The case file on the Belarusian “gas station attendant” was forwarded to the tax inspectorate.
