The fundraiser organized by the family has ended.

A friend of Konstantin Ivanov Sergey Guminsky reported that the fundraiser launched by the journalist’s loved ones to honor the “Charter ’97” journalist has been fully closed.

“We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions. Thanks to your kindness and compassion, we reached our goal and even exceeded it, raising 102%. This is true proof of how many people loved our Kuzya and remember him.

Every contribution you made—whether a donation or a share—was a testament to your love and to the fact that he left something lasting in people’s hearts”,—wrote Sergey Guminsky in “Facebook”.

The funeral service for “Charta 97” journalist Konstantin Ivanov will be held at the Dom Pogrzebowy Koperski funeral home in Warsaw at ul. Powązkowska 2, at the corner of Okopowa Street. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m.

Konstantin Ivanov died on October 24 after a serious illness. He was 40 years old.

In the 2000s, Konstantin was one of the most prominent activists in the “Zubr” movement and the “European Belarus” civic campaign in Vitebsk. He was repeatedly detained by security forces during protests.

After the 2010 presidential “elections,” he moved to Poland and worked as a journalist for the website Charter97.org.
