The occupying forces have significantly slowed their advance on the front lines in Ukraine compared to the previous two years.

This was stated military analyst and OSINT expert Clément Molin, who published an infographic on the dynamics of the front line’s movement.

According to him, Russia seized the initiative in October 2023 and continued to advance thereafter, despite heavy losses. However, Russian troops have now virtually stopped capturing new territory.

At the same time, Molen emphasizes that it is too early to speak of a complete halt to Russia’s advance. The occupying forces continue to advance slowly, especially in certain areas of the Donbas.

At the same time, these changes are offset by territory that Ukrainian forces are recapturing as a result of counterattacks in certain sectors.
