The evacuation and distribution of humanitarian aid have begun.

The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Oleshky on Friday, October 30. Evacuation efforts and the distribution of humanitarian aid have begun in the city.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing a statement by the head of the “Servant of the People” faction David Arakhamia and a statement by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

“The Ukrainian delegation has already arrived safely in Oleshky. The evacuation and distribution of humanitarian aid have begun,” the MP noted.

Arakhamia added that the ceasefire is still in effect and promised to provide details later.

Lubinec emphasized that the ceasefire in Oleshky has lasted 80 hours and is still ongoing. He added that he is currently speaking with local residents to hear about their needs and understand what kind of assistance they need most.

“Our top priority is the people in need of assistance. We are doing everything possible to support them and help each and every person who needs it,” the ombudsman emphasized.

As a reminder, on October 27, a ceasefire was declared near the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region to facilitate a humanitarian mission.

The mission involves delivering humanitarian aid to civilians and preparing for the evacuation of local residents. The ceasefire will remain in effect until 10:59 p.m. on November 1.
