Anatoly Krasovsky's Daughter: Garavsky Is Merely A Pawn

Valeria Krasovskaya — the daughter of businessman Anatoly Krasovsky, who has been missing for 27 years — as are Lukashenko’s opponents, former Interior Minister Yuri Zakharenko and former head of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Viktor Gonchar. On October 26 of this year, a court in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen found former SOBR officer Yuri Garavsky guilty of the forced disappearance of a businessman, a crime Garavsky had previously admitted to publicly.

In an interview “Deutsche Welle”, Valeria Krasovskaya stated that Garavsky was merely the mastermind behind the crime:
According to Valeria Krasovskaya, she has no intention of closing this case, but for now there are no other mechanisms that would help move the investigation forward. “Otherwise, we would have used them earlier,” she noted.

She admits that such mechanisms may appear in the future. Furthermore, in her opinion, Garavsky’s accomplices were surely monitoring the proceedings. Seeing that the punishment turned out to be very lenient, they may decide to share information in the same way.

“I don’t know what will happen in the near future, but, of course, I can’t consider this a closed case,” concluded the daughter of the missing businessman.
