A fire broke out at the Khanskaya airfield.

In the vicinity of the Russian city of Maykop (Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation), local residents are reporting a series of explosions and drones flying overhead. A fire was also reported at the airfield after a drone strike, according to "Focus".

According to Russian social media posts, an air raid alert was issued in the region due to a threat from UAVs. Footage of the fire at the airfield was published by the monitoring channel Exilenova+.

“Maykop. Local residents are reporting an attack and a fire at the “Khanskaya” airfield, — the report states.

In local social media groups, residents report at least 10 explosions near the airfield and a fire.

According to open sources, the Khanskaya airfield is located 6 km from the city of Maykop. Satellite images show Su-30, Su-24, Su-34, and An-12 aircraft, which are used by the Russian Aerospace Forces to carry out airstrikes and transport ammunition for combat aircraft.
