Facilities in Adygea, the Krasnodar Krai, and occupied Crimea have been hit.

On the night of October 4, drones attacked Adygea. The Khanskaya military airfield near Maykop was hit, according to a Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+, citing local residents. A fire broke out at the facility. The “Maykop Emergency” public group confirmed the fire following the attack but did not specify where it occurred. In the comments, residents reported that drones were flying “all night,” sirens were sounding in the city, and explosions were also heard.

The head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov reported that 28 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed in Maykop and its suburbs. According to him, no one was injured. Damage to the roofs and windows of several private homes was reported. The Supernova+ channel claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted “all drone launch sites across Ukraine,” including Maykop.

The Khanskaya airfield is located 6 km from the city. It is home to Su-30 fighter jets, Su-24s, Su-34s, and An-12 military transport aircraft, which the Russian military uses to carry out airstrikes on Ukraine and transport ammunition for combat aircraft. The airfield has previously been targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on multiple occasions.

Additionally, according to monitoring channels, on the night of October 4, the Gvardeyskoye airfield near Simferopol in Crimea and the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield in the Krasnodar Krai were attacked.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on Saturday evening and the following night, the military shot down 559 Ukrainian UAVs, including over Adygea, Crimea, and the Kuban.
