Colonel Z. Zaderay Is Alarmed: Putin Is Leading Russia To Defeat

The Kremlin has fallen into the trap of a war of attrition.

Valery Zaderey , a reserve colonel in the Russian Armed Forces and a so-called “Z-patriot” , predicted Russia’s defeat due to the protracted war and Vladimir Putin’s economic policies. He made this sensational statement on the program hosted by Russian propagandist Pavel Ivanov, as reported by Dialog.UA.

Zaderey noted the dire state of Russia’s public finances, adding that Russians will feel the consequences of the so-called “special military operation” in their own pockets.

“As a result of this ‘special military operation,’ which is dragging on and beginning to wear down our forces, and as a result of the policies—including those of the financial sector, the government, and the Central Bank—it (the Russian Federation’s budget deficit—ed.) is growing. They’ll pass this on to the people and to business owners. There’s no other outcome to expect here… This is a trend; ultimately, it will lead to our defeat. Victory cannot be achieved this way!” declared Z-Patriot.

He noted the lack of unity in Russia and the fact that the majority of Russians do not want to participate in the war and are “staying on the sidelines.”
