Ukraine struck 11 regions of the Russian Federation with hundreds of drones.
On October 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a new large-scale attack on various regions of Russia.
This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Russian Defense Ministry acknowledged that over the course of the day, Russian air defenses attempted to repel a large-scale air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As is customary, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not disclose how many drones Ukraine deployed during the new attack.
Nevertheless, the report makes it clear that more than 300 UAVs were involved.
According to the Russians, they repelled a new air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Minsk time.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense forces allegedly managed to intercept and destroy 280 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
This time, the Russians attempted to shoot down Ukrainian Armed Forces drones over the following regions:
Kursk,
Belgorod,
Smolensk,
Bryansk,
Kaluga,
Tula,
Oryol,
and Rostov regions;
the Moscow region;
the Krasnodar Krai;
occupied Crimea;
and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
