The Nobel Prize In Chemistry Laureates Have Been Announced

In Stockholm, the Swedish Academy of Sciences announced the winners of the 2026 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The winners in this category are Henri Kagan and Kenso Soai “for the discovery of nonlinear effects and autocatalysis in asymmetric organic synthesis.” They represent universities in France and Japan.

Last year, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Susumu Kitagawa (Japan), Richard Robson (Australia), and Omar Yaghi (United States) “for the development of metal-organic frameworks” (MOFs).

On Thursday, October 8, the new Nobel Prize in Literature laureate will be announced.
