The Belarusian dictator wished his Russian counterpart a happy birthday.
On October 7, Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Putin, according to the dictator’s press service.
The two dictators discussed “particularly pressing issues on the agenda.” They agreed to continue their discussion on specific issues of bilateral cooperation and the international situation during a meeting on the sidelines of the CIS summit in Turkmenistan. The Belarusian dictator congratulated his Russian counterpart on his birthday.
The conversation took place on the eve of the two leaders’ working visit to Turkmenistan, where they will participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State on October 8–9.
