London intends to support Kyiv until it defeats Russia.

During his visit to Ukraine, the British Foreign Secretary visited the city of Pryluky, where a Russian missile killed 22 civilians. He stated that London would continue to support the Ukrainian people. Ed Miliband arrived in the city in the Chernihiv region together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The politicians visited the site of the tragedy, from the rubble of which Ukrainian rescue workers recovered the bodies of 22 civilians, including five children. Both paid their respects to the victims.

The British foreign minister emphasized that Vladimir Putin has been unable to achieve victory on the battlefield, which is why he is attempting to win by terrorizing the civilian population. According to him, he does not believe that Vladimir Putin will succeed in this. As the minister noted, Russia will not be able to win thanks to the courage of the Ukrainian people.

“I am here to say, on behalf of the government of the United Kingdom: we will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes for Ukraine to prevail in this conflict,” the British Foreign Secretary emphasized.

Ed Miliband also visited the Ukrainian capital, where air raid alerts continue. In Kyiv, two civilians have been killed since the start of the day, and several others have been injured.
