Three locations in two regions were targeted.
On the night of October 9, the Ukrainian military struck targets in Russia linked to missile launches and the production of rocket fuel. Three locations in two regions were hit.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One of the targets was a facility belonging to a branch of JSC “Center for the Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities” (TsENKI) near the village of Dalne Konstantinovo-5 in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is the V. P. Barmin Research Institute of Launch Complexes.
TSENKI designs, maintains, and operates launch complexes, refueling equipment, and missile control systems.
Also, a strike hit the Redkino Experimental Plant near the village of Redkino in the Tver Region. The facility is part of the enemy’s military-industrial complex supply chains.
The plant produces components of the “Decillin-M” fuel for the Kh-55 and Kh-101 cruise missiles, as well as additives for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene. The facility is subject to international sanctions.
Another target was the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Disposal Center near the village of Surovatikha in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It was struck to weaken the enemy’s military-industrial complex’s capabilities to produce explosives and rocket fuel.
Such strikes represent Ukraine’s exercise of its inalienable right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, the General Staff explains.
